SF DEM Will Run Fleet Week Disaster Drill on October 7

The San Francisco Department of Emergency Management (SF DEM) invites the public to attend the 2019 San Francisco Fleet Week DSCA Disaster Debris Management and Route Reopening Full-Scale Exercise & Static Display. SF DEM, in partnership with the Port of San Francisco, the San Francisco Fleet Week Center for Humanitarian Assistance, and numerous local, state, federal, private sector, and non-governmental agency partners, is conducting an emergency route reopening and debris management Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) exercise series to support SF Fleet Week. The 2019 Fleet Week Exercise Program will involve working through a catastrophic earthquake scenario.

Date: Monday, October 7, 2019
Time: 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 noon
Location: Pier 27 on The Embarcadero
(San Francisco Cruise Ship Terminal and Parking Lot)

The Honorable Mayor London Breed will hold a Press Conference from approximately 10:30-11:00 AM. Limited parking is available by reservation only. We highly encourage the use of public transportation whenever possible. Pier 27 is located directly on multiple MUNI lines.
