The BCNA supports the work of North Beach Citizens, which extends into our neighborhoodâWe wanted to share their message about their Fund-a-Need Campaign, a way we can help meet the important needs of our community this holiday season.
North Beach Citizens serves as a beacon of hope for homeless and extremely low-income individuals. The relationships we foster with our clients are transformational, and our staff becomes a second family to many of the people we serve.
This duty to our clients is central to our work as we expand our food pantry, clothing bank, and street beautification efforts to meet the demand of the holiday season. Since the beginning of November, we have seen a 38% increase in the need for food assistance. We are only able to accomplish meeting our goals for our clients through the generous support we receive from the community.
