Barbary Coast Spotlight: Verjus Is Open for Outdoor Dining and Shopping

Image of a shop with wine and food

We want to highlight a local business to add to your meal repertoire: Verjus, located in historic Jackson Square at 529 Washington Street and part of the popular Cotogna and Quince restaurant group.

Verjus is open for outdoor dining from 2-8 PM, Tuesday through Saturday. The Verjus shop, which sells wine, meats, cheeses, and other provisions, is also open for in-person and online orders.

Verjus recently introduced Farmers Market Fridays from 4-7 PM, selling organic farm produce from Fresh Run Farm near Bolinas and artisan breads made by Cotogna. You can also preorder a CSA produce box for Friday pick-up. This is great way to get a head start on your shopping for the weekend.

Thanks for supporting our local businesses!
